PFA

Each August, LJA Admissions and the PFA embrace those new to the LJA ‘ohana during a special Welcome New Families event. New families are paired with an Ambassador Family.. Ambassador Families are a liaison during the school year, answering questions and providing support as new families orient themselves to LJA.

Coffee with the Head(s) are casual gatherings where parents can discuss topics of interest with our Head of Primary and Head of Secondary. Topics range from IB to Raising Children in a Digital Age, with many topics in between. Coffees are generally held at 8:15 a.m. in the morning on a quarterly basis and can be found in the LJA Weekly calendar.

The LJA Family Fun Run is held annually on a Sunday in February, rain or shine! The event is FREE, but registration is mandatory. The course circles the Main Campus, beginning and ending on the soccer field. This event takes many volunteers to make it a success, and any help you can offer is appreciated!

The LJA Holiday Makeke will be held on Saturday, December 9, 2023 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on the Main Campus. The event features food, crafts, gifts, and entertainment, with plenty of student entrepreneurship in the mix.

The PFA provides morale-boosting treats for our LJA Employees throughout the school year. An annual Teacher Appreciation luncheon is held in May and faculty are surprised with gifts during Teacher Appreciation Week. Volunteers are welcome!

The PFA teams up annually with the United States Marine Corps for Toys for Tots.

You can participate by donating a new and unwrapped toy for a child in need.
