A defining characteristic of Le Jardin Academy is its strong sense of community. The LJA ‘Ohana is a broad network of families, students, faculty, staff, alumni, trustees, friends and community partners–one whose reach grows each and every day.
As a community of learners, we intentionally create and embrace opportunities to connect, gather, innovate, explore and celebrate. The cheering crowds that energize our athletics teams are a testament to the pride and spirit of the LJA Bulldogs. The trees planted, invasive species cleared, and watershed stewardship of our students demonstrate the impact of the work of many rather than just a few. Empathy and care for our neighbors is shown in the actions of our student lobbyists, support of local organizations that serve others, and positive multi-age collaboration in our learning and action on a daily basis. Scholarships and financial aid create pathways for students to benefit from the IB curriculum and the many co-curricular opportunities available to students from LJA and beyond our campus walls. A growing network of partnerships and collaborations—both locally and globally—brings strength of community and keeps LJA moving forward as a leader in education.
