  2. The ability to send out email blasts to all families who have signed up, about last
minute changes, as well as important reminders.
  3. A separate page for each team.  The coaching staff will control the “team pages”.
  4. Schedules – all ILH schedules will be input into a program that will post them under the “calendar” tab on the website.
  5. Twitter – there will also be an Athletic Twitter account set up that will be used to communicate updates from LJA events.

         Girls’ Volleyball:

Intermediate - will continue Summer Conditioning Program until the official startup date of August 10.  However, practices will be moved from the mornings to the evenings starting on August 3. Please report to the gym from 5 – 7 PM beginning August 3.

Varsity & Junior Varsity - High School athletes will continue running optional Summer Conditioning Program in the mornings until July 31.  From August 3 – 14, Monday through Friday, we will be running 2-a-days. The first session will be from 8 – 10 AM and the second session will be from 5 – 6:30 PM.  We are going to go intensive in the beginning, and then scale back once school starts. The staff is aware that LJA is academically intensive, so they are taking that into consideration, but a certain amount of work needs to be accomplished in order for us to be in contention for a State Tournament berth.

Tryout format – Volleyball will be offering a rolling tryout period. This means that an initial division of teams will take place on August 3rd and 4th for V and JV.  However, individuals that are on travel will be afforded the opportunity to tryout out for a team so long as it’s completed by the first day of school, August 19.  Only families that are traveling during this time will be afforded the opportunity to be excused from initial tryouts. Those families must contact Coach Lamb prior to tryouts for them to be excused from the initial tryout period and considered during the rolling period.
