Shop and Support Your School at Foodland's Shop for Higher Education Scholarship Program!

Select LE JARDIN ACADEMY when you check out at any Foodland, Sack N Save or Foodland Farms store.

Then, every time you shop through the end of the program, you earn Maika`i Points for yourself and your designated school. The more Maika`i Points a school earns, the more scholarships it receives.

Scholarships for the class of 2012 are awarded based on the number of Maika`i Points schools earn in the program: The top 5 schools earning the most points receive (5) $2,000 scholarships each; the next 10 schools earning the most points receive (3) $2,000 scholarships each; the next 10 schools receive (2) $2,000 scholarships each; the next 25 schools receive (1) $2,000 scholarships each.

A total of one hundred $2,000 scholarships are given to deserving high school seniors across the state each year.

Foodland's Shop for Higher Education scholarship program is from February 8 through  March 20th, 2012.

50 Years of Serving The Windward side

Le Jardin Academy was founded in 1961 by Madame Henriette Neal.  Are you one of the children in the picture of the first class?  If you are, let us know.  Madame Neal was a visionary founder who was determined to provide children on the Windward side with an opportunity to learn French from an early age. To this day, Le Jardin has remained true to her vision of providing the opportunity for young people to master a second language so that they can take their place in the global community of the future that she had envisioned all those years ago.  Now Le Jardin through it's connection to the International Baccalaureate has firmly cemented her vision and philosophy of providing a global education into all of the school's programs.  

Over the next year, we at the school will be celebrating Madame Neal's vision and courage in founding a new school.  An important part of our celebration will involve renewing contact with as many of our alumni as we can.  We would like to find not only individuals who graduated from grade 12, but also those that attended LJA as a stepping stone to another school over the hill when LJA did not have a high school.  If you attended Le Jardin Academy, why not re-establish your link with the school by joining our alumni club?  All you have to do is to log onto www.lejardinacademy.org and send us your information.  Become a part of celebrating the school's 50th anniversary.
