The Hawaii Branch of the International Dyslexia Association and The Assistive Tech Resource Center of Hawaii are teaming up to help students with learning differences succeed through the use of assistive technology. Assistive technology refers to the many apps, software and devices that assist to make learning easier and more accessible. Many devices already have assistive tech settings embedded in them that just need to be enabled. There are also many assistive tech options that can be downloaded from the web at little or no cost. Parents of students with language-based learning differences are encouraged to register to attend the free workshop detailed below!

If you have books - gently used - that you no longer want or need you can bring them to the LS Library and we will include them in our annual Book Exchange on Friday, March 13 during the LS Family Fun Night (click HERE for flyer).
Recycling books is a great way to be green and the Book Exchange is a great opportunity for swapping out your books, especially if you have kids or grandkids.
We also take books for adult readers.
