Join LJA in giving back to both our 'aina and community as part of our 60th Anniversary Community Workdays.

At LJA, maintaining special relationships with our campus grounds and surrounding 'aina is a top priority. Our students are fortunate to have frequent opportunities to engage in land stewardship and place-based learning at Kawainui, Kahana 'iki and Nā Pōhaku O Hauwahine. Families are invited to participate in a series of Community Workdays at Kawainui Marsh on three days this spring from 9am-1pm. Our projects include native plantings, clearing of invasive plants, and creating rock paths. Please RSVP separately for each workday you will attend; details will be emailed to you prior to the event.
