Principal's Message by Alex Ramsvig, HS Principal May 13, 2021 Aloha All,
As you read this students are completing their last day of classes for the 2020-2021 school year! Congratulations to all on the hard word and constant flexibility this year required. Of course, HS activities are continuing for another few weeks!
Next week is HS exam week, details of which have been provided to students and parents already. Please feel free to reach out to Lindsey Schiffler if you have any questions. The following week will see our delayed but not forgotten 2021 I-term take place!
I would encourage everyone to keep both an eye on the end of the year, and also on the fact that there are many wonderful events and traditions left to enjoy.
As always, please let me know if you have any questions or concerns.
Alex Ramsvig HS Principal
HS Dean of Academics & DP Coordinator Lindsey Schiffler
Aloha all!
It is hard to believe that we are in the final weeks of the 2020-2021 school year. Students have one more week of classes before final exams start on Monday, May 17. The final exam schedule follows the same pattern as the first semester exam schedule back in December. The schedule was emailed to all students on Monday, May 10. For the majority of students, an exam is scheduled in every class. Please ask your student(s) to share and discuss the schedule with you. Each exam block is 2 hours and follows the Monday/Tuesday schedule. Students are required to be in the exam room for the entire exam block. If a class is not on the schedule, students do NOT have an exam. If uncertain, please check with the teacher(s). Students should not be on campus unless for a scheduled exam. However, if transportation is an issue, students are welcome to study in the library or outside in one of the tents. In this case, students need to have a permission form signed and returned to Ms. Surina by Friday May 14. This permission form is included in the same email as the exam schedule.
Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns

Grade 10's celebrated submissions of the Personal Project to IB with pizza and popsicles on Friday. Awards were given for "Fan Favorites" and "Student Excellence".
The criteria for "Fan Favorites" were students who received five or more votes from students and teachers for their favorite Personal Project website.
The criteria for Personal Project "Excellence Awards" went to the top ten scoring students based on teacher internal assessment of the Personal Project Report. Due to the preliminary nature of scoring and waiting until August to receive the moderated scores from IB, we will add awardees to this category if IB modifies scores that include additional students who scored in the top ten for the 10th grade.
