Room Parent - Each class requires a room parent to act as a liaison between homeroom teachers and class families. It will mostly involve sending emails to coordinate class treats on special days. The perfect role for anyone with an email address and ten minutes to spare every few weeks. If you're interested, please select your childs teacher below.

Gardening Committee:  Assist with getting the garden beds ready for planting. Adding new top soil and cleaning the beds out. This will be a weekend activity for a few hours one day this fall. Date and Time TBD.  The gardening committee is looking for a chair, someone who knows the difference between a weed and a plant and who can be an infrequent helper to the JK teachers as well as run the committee weekend event and get needed supplies. *
Decorating Committee:  Halloween, Christmas, Chinese New Year/Grandparents Day, JK Moving Up Ceremony - We are getting creative again this year, since we are still not sure what the year may entail. The extended day kids will do most of the crafting with the help of the committee. (The committee may have to prep the materials and hand it to the Extended Day Teachers with instructions). The committee will be decorating early in the week after the regular school day (~3-5pm) and then cleaning up usually on Friday afternoons (~3-4pm). If you are crafty this is for you, or if you are just willing to lend a hand. Plus if you’re new to the school you get to meet other parent volunteers! *
May Day Decorating:  Our Showcasing May Day program takes a village in assisting in the floral decor of May Day - It is a magical day and so much fun to be a part of. *
