A MESSAGE FROM THE HEAD OF PRIMARY DIVISION |
Aloha Parents, We have a busy week ahead with Book Fair and Parent Conferences. Next Friday, October 28 is Parent Conferences. To check your time, or sign up, please visit Sign Up For Fall Conferences. Our Learning Support Team has some personnel changes I wanted to share with you, as learning support works with all students. Counselor Joey Kurata is unfortunately leaving LJA. We appreciate her 16 years of service supporting students at LJA and we wish her the best. Today is her last day at LJA. As many of you know, Lori Praetorius, our Primary Dean of Students, will be going on maternity leave soon in anticipation of her twins! Cheryl Sanford will be stepping into the Dean of Students role for the remainder of the year. Alecia Burroughs will be stepping into the K-1 Learning Support Specialist role. We have posted the K-5 counseling position on our website and will be posting the PK-JK role soon. Thank you for your patience while we work to find the perfect candidates. Aloha, Leah Magaña |
