Message from the Athletic Director
I happened to be at a few sporting events this weekend and I had an Athletic Director from another school come up and comment to me about how Le Jardin was building a dynasty in some sports and how it felt like we were on the brink of something big. I thought about that a lot these last few days and am so proud to be associated with a school that is making a difference in this world in the classroom, in our communities and on the field.

Cross Country Update
I had the privilege to witness a wonderful start to the cross country season by all of our teams. Two of our female runners athletes finished first in their 5000 meters race on September 1st, at Mid-Pacific Institute, in the season opener. Freshmen Aya crossed the finish line first at the JV level with a time of 22.24. And senior Gianna won the girls varsity race with a time of 20.01.There were competitors from all of the private schools in this race at the intermediate, JV and Varsity levels. LJA made a big statement by starting so strong. It was a real treat to watch.

Intermediate Volleyball
The girls intermediate volleyball team is off to a good start this year with wins against Mid-Pacific, La Pietra and Iolani so far this season.
