Reminders and Updates from the Principal

Dear Parents,

Tomorrow evening (Friday, February 1) is your chance to attend a very important parent & child learning opportunity. The film Screenagers (please see details listed above in the Weekly) is something we strongly recommend all MS parents see, especially with their child. This is a great way to start and/or carry forward dialogues at home about things like gaming and social media practices, as well as setting family expectations and guidelines around "screen time" balance. We hope to see many of you there!

Other Important Updates:

  • Extracurricular Progress Checks were given out to the students on J day (Wednesday) during 1st period. Progress Checks need to be signed by parent(s) AFTER all teachers have listed their remarks. The forms are due next week Wednesday, February 6, and they will determine your child's eligibility to attend the Spring Dance as well as current LJA sports practices and games. Please see the signature page of the form for more information.

  •  The next MS Coffee will be on Thursday, February 14 from 8:30 - 9:30.

February is Here!!!
