![]() Message from the Athletic Director
During a rainy weekend in Maui on May 3rd and 4th, our PAC 5 track and field athletes displayed the ultimate forms of grit and perseverance. The track was wet and slippery, many runners chose tennis shoes over track cleats, and the sky was dreary. But our 3 competitors (James Lindell, Aya Lewis and Gianna Sbarbaro) were relentless. They ran their hearts out in search of personal records and ignored the weather's obstacles. They refused to give up! Congratulations to all of our runners who competed all year long. But especially to Aya Lewis for coming in 7th place in both the 1500 event and the 3000 meter race. And Gianna Sbarbaro for showing up on championship day, after hours of IB exams and taking 2nd place on the biggest stage, in the 3000 meter race. You runners are inspiring!
-Athletic Director, Jana Fraser
