COVID-19 I spoke briefly about Covid-19 at Friday Flag to ensure we are sharing correct information with students and to remind students first and foremost to wash their hands for a minimum of 20 seconds. We want to make sure our students feel safe here at LJA and here is a great article how to speak with your child.

MAY DAY REHEARSALS May Day seem far away but May Day rehearsals have started to prepare the students for this beautiful, annual tradition.
STUDENT LED CONFERENCES Make sure you have signed up for your child's student led conference on Monday, 3/9. Keep in mind that this is a non-school day but you will need to ensure you attend the conference with your child. SUMMER SCHOOL WELCOMES YOU - June 15 – July 17 The LJA website is open now for Summer School registration. Check it out today as some classes have already filled!
FAMILY FUN NIGHT This year Family Fun Night is on Friday, March 13, from 4:00-6:00pm in the Lower School area. Script and wrist bands can be purchased at the event.

GIRLS CSAL BASKETBALL – grades 4 and 5 (and 6) Girls CSAL basketball's first practice will be on Wednesday, March 11 immediately after school. Meet Coach Ed/Coach Janeen by the Wang on the Middle School courtyard side. Dismissal is at 4:30 at the gym. Practices are Monday, Wednesday, and Thursdays from 3:00 - 4:30. No need to sign up in advance, just show up with athletic shoes and clothes, a water bottle, and ready to have some fun! Lots of Fun Learning in LS Leah Magana shares her work as an author with grades 3-5 during Books and Bagels. Students in the second grade making observations using tools with the help of eighth grade buddies. In media class, grade 4 students design structures and test against earthquakes. Grade 2 students learn how to farm kale using a bucket system.
