WASC/HAIS MID-CYCLE VISIT The Hawaii Association of Independent Schools/Western Association of Schools and Colleges (HAIS/WASC) mid-cycle visit will take place virtually on Tuesday, Sept. 29. Meetings, interviews and learning observations with school stakeholders will be held to satisfy this condition of LJA's seven-year accreditation, granted by the Accrediting Commission for Schools/WASC commissioners in 2017.
PORTABLE PROTECTIVE DIVIDERS Our preschool keiki were welcomed back to campus on Monday. As they adjust to the new procedures (lots of extra handwashing) and social norms, they have been given added support to help ease the transition. During snack time, lunch and sometimes instructional time, clear plastic protective dividers are put up. This project was made possible through the generous donation of time, skill and equipment by Steven Smith of Hensel Phelps. Mahalo!
