HALLOWEEN PARADE Please join us for a "reimagined" Halloween Parade. Traditionally, we would invite parents to our playground and have a parade with songs and dancing. This year, in light of new safety policies, we have reimagined our parade to take place in our parking lot where parents can park and watch while socially distanced. We ask for kōkua to drop off your child earlier on those days so we may start our parade on time. A friendly reminder that our drop off time does end at 8:00 am. Parents who are staying for the parade will park and are welcome to sit at their cars to watch the parade and take pictures. Parents joining us must stay in their stalls and wear a mask for the duration of the event. PK Parade: Thursday, October 29 from 8:15 am - 8:40 am JK Parade: Friday, October 30 from 8:15 am - 8:40 am
If you are able to join us, please RSVP Here
SCREENING KIOSKS This week we launched our screening kiosks during drop off and have had success with a few setbacks. We appreciate your patience this week as we work out all the kinks and find what works best for our students. We are also waiting on small umbrellas that will attach and block the hot morning sun from altering the temperature. As a reminder, you do not need to do your pre screening as we are instead using these kiosks.
HOT LUNCH ORDER FORM Click here to order hot lunch for quarter 2 starting October 19, the day we get back from fall break. As a reminder 1% milk is served with hot lunch and pizza orders.
OUT-OF-STATE TRAVEL Under current conditions and anticipated future conditions, LJA discourages non-essential travel to minimize risk to our community.
LJA's policy for out-of-state travel requires that: Families notify the School Nurse at school.nurse@lejardinacademy.org to report travel dates and destination(s)
SCHOLASTIC BOOK FAIR You're invited to shop our Scholastic Book Fair online from Oct. 26 - Nov. 8! All purchases benefit our school and connect kids with new books, favorite characters, complete series, and more.
