No school tomorrow 4/2 Senior advisory- all things seniors
Principal's Message by Alex Ramsvig, HS Principal April 1, 2021 Aloha All,
Two short weeks in a row have been a nice transition back from Spring break.
Although there are still many encouraging COVID stories and indicators, I am sure you have noticed that Hawaii is in danger of moving back to a more strict set of protocols. We continue to monitor the situation closely especially in relation to upcoming events. I greatly appreciate everyone's continued support and understanding that flexibility and last minute changes are possible.
Senior Parents- I will be sending a graduation update next week with many of the general details about graduation. I would note again however, that even an event of this magnitude will be subject to the potential changing COVID realities as we move closer to May 29th.
As always, please feel free to reach out with any questions or concerns.
Alex Ramsvig HS Principal

LJA Wellness Message By Sean Landau and Jessica Osborne Although these useful exercises were created for teachers, we can all improve daily. Whether you are new or experienced, teaching can be a uniquely rewarding and demanding experience. Deliberately carving out time in each day where you can take a moment to care for yourself can be essential to your well being. You may be feeling stressed out by a looming deadline, overwhelmed by your to-do list, or overly self-critical. We hope this little book of mindfulness tips can help remind you to take a breath, be kind to yourself and just do the best you can with this moment.

Take care and be well,

Scott Liedtke Director of College Counseling "Be Loud and Proud" will be on April 23. We started this two years ago and unfortunately it was derailed last year, but it is back! Seniors will report to campus by 7:30am on Friday, April 23rd. By this point, most of them will have committed to their college or university and we want to celebrate this decision with our families and student body. Wear any college gear you have, bring any merchandise, make signs and/or grab your pennant from Mr. Liedtke's office...We will line the road from the wilderness entrance on down towards the middle school drop off allowing our families/students to revel in your accomplishments and honor the Class of 2021. We will also take a spin through the lower and middle school so everyone can get a glimpse and celebrate. Afterwards, we will come back to the HS campus and enjoy breakfast. Every one of you deserves this moment.
