Aloha Junior School 'Ohana, It was another exciting few weeks of learning here at the Junior School! Our PK students continued their learning with sequencing through an inquiry into the book "We're Going on a Bear Hunt". After living their Bear hunt and walking through mud, stepping through grass, and climbing through their cave, they worked on creating storyboards with each part of the book included. Students used found items like dirt and sticks to add details to their storyboards and topped them off with a picture of themselves running through each scene! In JK students are having so much with their unit on change! They spent time outside this week as they set up a sun tracker in the playground and marked the position of the shadow throughout the day. They reflected on their findings and shared their thoughts about the shadows "movement" as a class. This week we are thrilled to share more about their learning and all their accomplishments at our Parent Teacher conferences. We hope you all have a fantastic weekend!
