Parents and Athletes, It's been a whirlwind beginning of the spring season. The overlap of winter and spring seasons, in combination with back-to-back I-terms and spring break left teams in a serious bind for available players. Fortunately, we were able to reschedule many games, but it came at a cost for the schedule changes. It's more important than ever for our athletes to communicate with their coach if they are unable to make a game or match. That being said, we have had a phenomenal year qualifying for 6 out of 6 State Tournaments so far! |
Varsity Tennis Our boys varsity team most recently played against Maryknoll on 3/24 and won; Mid Pacific Institute on 3/29/22 that they lost; Iolani on 3/30. The girls team has also been busy with matches against Kamehameha on 3/28 which they lost; Iolani on 3/29 which they also lost. |
Liam, Shane, Dante and Amanda competed at Hookalei Country Club Golf Course on March 28. The course was in really great condition, as the LPGA is getting ready to play there in April. The course has 112 bunkers, which makes it very tough around the greens. Dante shot an 83 with birdies at holes 1 and 13. Liam shot a respectable 82 and finished in the top half of the field. Shane shot an 89 with a birdie at hole 3. Amanda finished strong with multiple pars finishing with a 96. The team will play there again on April 4th. |

| A note from Intermediate Golf Coach Andrew Ka-ne What an exciting season we've had so far! Weekly practices have been held on Tuesday and Thursday at Bayview. We had two tournaments at Hawaii Kai Golf Course. The Team has excelled and did an awesome job in representing Le Jardin with the skills learned and applied to everyday. The top 50% of the field (students) will make it to the championship later in the season. ILH will take an average of each student's two top scores to determine who will go to Championship. I will send out an email weekly with the update on the placement of each student. If you want more information please follow the instructions below. The following are each student's scores. You can also look up individual scores on ilhsports.com. Once on the website, scroll all the way down to 'Sports', click 'Golf' and spreadsheet will pop up with 'Tournament Schedule'. Look for the tab at the bottom labeled 'INT Boys'. Scores will then appear. Team update and individual scores: Example Name: Two scores = Average Brennan Nakayama 72-64= 68 (8th) Achilles Thornton 87-79= 83 (18th) Noah Scruton 90-86= 88 (22nd) Cooper Freeman 97-88= 92.5 (25th) |
