May Day Performance - April 22, 2022 @ 8:30am We are so excited to welcome families to campus this year for our annual May Day performance. This year's theme is "Ho'ola wai ka honua" which translates to "Water brings life to the world". Considering the recent events of the past few years we are mindful that this event, although in person, will still include some adjustments to ensure the safety of our students and families. Although the state has begun loosening restrictions, we are cognizant that not all students at the JS are vaccinated and some families may still have at risk kupuna or family members. With this in mind, we ask for your kokua during this event to complete a self screen prior to your arrival as well as stay masked while on campus. Each student will be given 2 tickets, as well as a 6x6 square for your family to sit in and enjoy the show. Seating will be first come, first serve and will be picnic style so feel free to bring a blanket or mat to sit on. (Unfortunately chairs and umbrellas are not permitted). The show starts at 8:30am and should finish up around 9:30am. Please have your child dressed in aloha wear for the show (Aloha shirt, floral dress, floral top, etc.) and be sure to send a change of clothes for the rest of the school day. If you would like to take your child home with you after the show please fill out this form. |
