Boys Varsity Soccer Season is off to a sizzling start! It was a historic day on our Le Jardin Academy campus Wednesday afternoon. The boys varsity soccer season got underway with its first ever home game. It has been a long awaited moment but worth every second as the crowd was treated to a quality game by your Bulldogs. The first 20 minutes were a bit skittish, but once the nerves calmed, a memorable game unfolded. Our first two goals were scored by Keenan R in a 4 minute span roughly 20 minutes into the game. Just before halftime, Jon E stole a ball from a defender and added our third goal. In the second half, Max M got on to the score sheet with a long distance shot over the goalkeeper's head. To finish the game, John E scored his second goal as the Bulldogs beat the Crusaders of St. Louis 5-0. The next home game is against Pac 5 on Tuesday, December 20 at 4:15 p.m. We hope to see you there! |

A MESSAGE FROM THE SECONDARY DEANS 9-12 Aloha HS Parents, We hope you have a wonderful winter holiday! We are returning to a practice that was in place before COVID, which is intended to help us assess student progress and provide support as needed. Students were given a form called the Le Jardin Secondary Student Extra-Curricular/Athletics Progress Check. Once completed by the faculty, the form should be signed by parents and returned to the HS office by December 16. The faculty and administration will be completing the form based on the students' performance in the following categories: - Attendance and punctuality
- Conduct
- Classwork and participation
- Homework
Students receiving all (S) or (N) marks will retain all of their participation and extracurricular privileges. Students receiving an unsatisfactory mark (U) in a class may not be allowed to participate in extra-curricular activities, sports, or events, and could lose campus privileges until the mark is improved to satisfactory (S) or meets expectations but more effort is needed (N). Students must complete and return the form in order to start the semester with privileges in place. This form, along with semester marks, will also be used to determine assignments for next semester for open blocks and structured study halls for 10-12th graders. Please let Ms. Schiffler or Ms. McNeill know if you have any questions. Mahalo, Lindsey Schiffler & Vicki McNeill |

Our Environmental Design Group was awarded the Awesome Foundation Grant. They will use the funds to help rebuild the kitchen and dining area at Hui Mahi'ai Aina, using a design they created after working at the site once a week this past semester. Fantastic job! |
