Regarding operations for January 31, after a delayed start, school is now running on a normal schedule. Pick-up and all after-school activities will proceed as planned.

Additionally, all weekend activities and admissions testing will continue as scheduled.

Kapa‘a Quarry Road has been reopened.

Due to power outages on campus and throughout the area and out of concern for our youngest drivers’ safety, Le Jardin Academy will delay the opening of campus today for students by 2 hours. Parents may plan to drop off students exactly two hours after their regular divisional drop off time. There will be no morning care today.

Primary Start: 9:45 a.m. 
Preschool Start: 10:00 a.m.
Secondary Start Time: 10:15 a.m.

All students will need to  pack a home lunch and snacks today. There will be no food service available on campus due to impacts of the storm.

At this time, we expect to remain open through the day and to run After-School Activities.

The National Weather Service forecasts winds and possible thunderstorms this evening, so stay safe and informed by monitoring weather updates. Please be aware of the following:

• Kapa‘a Quarry Road remains closed at the Kapa‘a Industrial Park entrance.
• The Varsity basketball game against Damien has been cancelled.
• If your child is in Extended Day and still on campus, they can be pick up early. 

Looking ahead, Friday’s weather forecast predicts scattered showers, but we anticipate a fully operational school day. If conditions change, we will alert you via text, email and website.

The Boys Varsity Basketball game against Damien Memorial, originally scheduled to take place at the LJA gym tonight, January 30, has been cancelled. We appreciate your understanding and support.

Please be aware that Kapa‘a Quarry Road remains CLOSED at the Kapa‘a Industrial Park entrance and we expect it will still be closed at pickup time. Plan accordingly and drive safely.
