Summer School

Classes cannot be changed on CampBrain after your initial enrollment. You must email summer.school@lejardinacademy.org to change classes and
process any refunds.

The registration deadline to avoid a late fee is May 30. Please see the Summer School Parent and Student Manual for all information regarding fees, late fees, deposits, and other financial deadlines.

All students need to fill out Health forms in CampBrain. LJA students do not need to complete immunization information since that is available in MagnusHealth. LJA families should fill in all other forms.

There are 3 two-hour long class periods offered each day. Students can take any combination of periods as long as there isn’t a gap between classes. For example, your student can take the second and third classes, but cannot take the first and third class.

Lunch and recess takes place from 12:00 -1:00 p.m. Students enrolled in the second and third class are invited to stay for lunch. Students whose last class of the day is the second class must be picked up at noon. Students who take the third class are welcome to enroll in Extended Day and/or After-School Activities.

The option to sign up for lunch will appear in the same place you register for classes on CampBrain. It will close the same day registration closes. The menu will be linked on CampBrain.

Early Morning Care is a free drop-in program that opens at 6:45 a.m. in the Wang Auditorium. Your student will sign in when they arrive.

Summer Extended Day and After-School Activity enrollment will take place on CampBrain at the same time as Summer School enrollment.

Please call the Summer School office at (808) 261-0707 x7005, or email summer.school@lejardinacademy.org. Since Summer School is an optional program we do not need reasons for absences. We do not prorate tuition for absences.

You can add ongoing authorized pick up contacts on CampBrain. If it’s a one time event, you can also email the name of the person to
summer.school@lejardinacademy.org. Your student will not be released to anyone unless we have a written record of your permission. Phone calls will not be accepted.

All emails are pulled from CampBrain. To receive communications, please add
your email as a parent contact.
 

You may sign up for a campus tour in June, before sessions begin. The date will be announced to parents who register. There will also be a Zoom meeting held later that afternoon with the Summer Programs Manager and Summer Programs Coordinator to answer any questions.

Your car placard and class schedule will be mailed to the address at the beginning of June. On the first day, your student will also receive a nametag with their schedule that will be attached to their backpack.

Tuition is due by April 13.
