After-School Activities

ALBION Hawaii's Preschool Soccer Club and Keiki Academy Soccer program is a unique opportunity to introduce your student to the beautiful game of soccer. Participants in this program are encouraged to grow developmental, physical and social abilities through creative soccer games, agility drills and guided scrimmages. In addition, each Keiki Academy player will learn the skills of ball control, dribbling and turning. This is a non-competitive skill building program and does not require tryouts for a club team. Scouting 311 with LJA!

Cub Pack 311, Scouts Troop 311, and Venture Crew 311 are now part of our LJA
community! All youth can join our Scouting programs that revolve around
strengthening character through action to prepare youth for a lifetime of
leadership.

Youth in Kindergarten through Grade 5 can join Cub Scouts and become a Cub
in Pack 311. Cub Scouts is a co-ed program where family adult members lead
fun activities that offer growth, achievement and family involvement. Email:

Youth who are aged 10 through 17 can join Scouts BSA and they become a
Scout within Troop 311. Our Boy Troop and our Girl Troop have their own
leadership but they conduct meetings and activities simultaneously. Their
program is the same and focuses on developing leadership skills while hiking,
camping, kayaking, and performing community service. Scouts develop skills
and have the opportunity to explore their interests and learn about different areas
such as first aid, cooking, archery, citizenship, environmental science, game
design, aviation, electronics, and so much more!

Older youth between the ages of 14 and 20, join the Crew 311. Crew 311 is co-
ed and the program revolves around high adventure activities in the Hawaiian
Islands and at high adventure bases in the mainland.

Scouting is a value-based program with its own code of conduct. The Scout
Oath and the Scout Law help instill the values of good conduct, respect for
others, and honesty.

Super Strings is not accepting new students for the Spring semester, but keep an eye out for Fall 2024.

In partnership with Hawaii Youth Symphony, Super Strings is for students who are interested in learning to play the violin and experiencing the joy of music through the violin. Students will learn instrumental technique, rhythmic patterns, note reading skills, listening skills, concepts of musicality, basics of group playing, improvisation, and a variety of musical styles. In addition to the time spent in class, students are expected to practice at home daily for optimal progress. Students are also expected to bring their violin, music book, and a pencil to class.

Classes are taught by HYS Academy String Instructor. Class sizes will be limited.

Registration Procedures:

Step 1: Login to the MySchoolApp by clicking the ‘Registration’ button. Make sure to have your MySchoolApp login information including username and password. 

Step 2: Click the ‘After School Activities Registration’’ button. Select the child you wish to register. Click the ‘Registration’ link, then click the ‘Register for a new session’ button. Select your child's grade level and the after school activity course. 

Step 3: Pay $5 non-refundable registration fee (per class). 

Step 4: Check your SchoolDoc account to confirm the status of your child's registration. 

Step 5: Vendors will contact parents directly with payment instructions.

Step 6: Pay vendor to confirm your child's spot.
