For the 2020-21 school year, LJA offers its extraordinary curriculum - grounded in an inquiry approach and is rich with experiential learning to promote voice, choice, and student agency--through two distinct learning models, with the flexibility to switch back and forth between models at designated points in the year]

With face-to-face and distance learning options available from day one, you’ll choose the learning model that works best for your child(ren). Read our 2020-21 Return to School Plan and divisional learning plans for more details.

LJA’s top priority is to provide our community and students with a safe, healthy, and excellent learning environment for their return to school this fall. Now, with:

  • Experience gained through 10 weeks of Distance Learning instruction (Spring 2020)
  • Practice and refinement of new protocols through our First Responders’ Program (Phase I Return to Campus), and Summer School Face-to-Face (Phase II Return to Campus)
  • Feedback from parents to help inform our decision-making (Survey June 2020), and 
  • Guidance of campus safety protocols by DHS, DOH, and the LJA Medical Hui (May 2020), a dedicated group of local and international medical professionals knowledgeable in their fields.
