LET'S BUILD ON THIS.

A Campaign for Le Jardin Academy

Taking Flight

This is our time, our moment to lay the groundwork for Le Jardin Academy’s future.

To create the conditions necessary for our growing student body to connect, create, and design their way to a better tomorrow, new capital projects are underway to:

Make Space for Arts & Innovation
Bring our 'Ohana Together

This perfectly practical vision – realized – makes MORE possible for ALL students, now and into the future, and sets the stage for future growth and expansion.

Le Jardin Academy has invested more than four years in master facilities planning, design, permitting, and site development work for this transformational campus project using operational reserves. The School has secured an additional $11M in USDA Rural Community Facilities funding to advance design development, permitting, and construction, and a capital campaign is underway. Now, we must leverage our community superpower – kokua – to raise the funds  to realize our vision. To make a gift or learn more about this campaign, contact Courtney Chow, CFRE, Executive Director of Advancement at 808.261.0707 x1740 or courtney.chow@lejardinacademy.org. Recognition opportunities are available.

Arts & Innovation Center

We will build an Arts & Innovation Center with purposeful, practical space right in the heart of campus, uniting our Middle and High Schools and serving students in grades 6-12. With 15,150 SF of student-centered program space, inspiration will abound and creativity will flourish in dynamic new spaces.

  • Maker Shop and Maker Classroom
  • Design Classrooms
  • Choral Room
  • Instrumental Room w/ Practice Rooms
  • Middle School Art Studio
  • High School Art Studio
  • Ceramics Room and Kiln
  • Collaborative Rooms
  • Gallery Walk

For community beyond LJA

Beyond LJA students, the Arts & Innovation Center will support community-level programming and partnerships across Windward O’ahu and beyond, elevating the value of an LJA education through enhanced experiences and connections for life.

One 'Ohana Deserves One Campus

After decades of leasing space in a local church and making use of small, portable structures, the time has come to move our preschool students from Kailua Road to the Main Campus and into their new home. Building C will undergo significant renovation to provide:

  • Six classrooms, larger in size and flexible in nature
  • Adjacent restrooms for all classrooms
  • Upgraded playground and green spaces
  • Kitchenette for meal and snack times
  • Faculty workspace
  • New parking stalls

It’s more than a building.

With a move to the main campus, students will benefit from an abundance of physical and human resources available on LJA’s main campus. Imagine our early learners having access to:

  • Primary Library & Media Center
  • Science Labs
  • King Forest, surrounding campus
  • Kahanaiki, within Kawainui Marsh
  • Security
  • School Nurse
  • Pool, Fields, Gym, Auditorium
  • Increased collaboration for all ages
